a little photo snippet of our spring break....

the time off from our "normal" lives was much needed and so appreciated. we headed to las vegas for 

a couple of nights and then to st. george, utah for a few more. (hubby had a work conference so we tagged along)

even though utah is a loooong drive from any beach (our usual vacation destination when we lived in the south), it is an easy 5+ hour drive to the red rocks and warm desert weather of southern utah and las vegas.  we checked out some of the amazing hotels in las vegas, did a few touristy things, hung out at some parks, slept in every day, and the kids got to swim their little hearts out! (and even though being crammed into a hotel room for any amount of time with three kids can get a little crazy, the trade off of NO DISHES and laundry for a week is well worth it, right, moms??)
