house #5.5-first look

a look at my new spaces:

this is the view when you walk in...the dining and living area are open to each other.

a look back towards the front door.

i am not digging the odd vaulted ceilings, and the boring light fixtures, i am thrilled with the hardwood floors.

the kitchen. yes, the countertops are green laminate...but it's spacious, and SO much better than our last house.

this room, directly off the foyer will be a library/music room. it is currently full of random items and all of our mirrors and artwork.

and this is my new office.

as soon as i get back from my trip, i am looking forward to going a little bit of painting. i just need to decide WHICH room to start with. i am thinking maybe my office, as there are two HUGE bookcases that will most likely end up in here, and i need to get the walls painted before we lug them in.
